About the Program
The Regulatory Roundtable (RRT) is ACCOSCA’s premier forum for dialogue and collaboration among regulators, policymakers, cooperative leaders, national associations, and development partners working to strengthen the cooperative financial sector. Convened annually, the program brings together stakeholders from across Africa and beyond to examine emerging regulatory issues, share experiences, and advance practical solutions that support safe, resilient, and member-focused SACCOs and credit unions.
Through expert-led discussions, case studies, and peer exchange, participants explore how effective regulation, supervision, governance, and innovation work together to strengthen institutional resilience and financial inclusion. The RRT also provides a platform for building consensus around regulatory priorities and encouraging greater cooperation across jurisdictions.
Africa’s cooperative financial sector is only as strong as the shared understanding between regulators and the institutions they oversee.
