About the Program
The Financial Coaching Certification Program prepares SACCO leaders and professionals to guide members toward lasting financial well-being. Grounded in research and global best practices, it combines expert-led instruction, structured coursework, and practical, real-world application.
The program moves beyond basic financial education to help members understand and change the everyday behaviors that shape their financial health. To earn certification, each participant completes a culminating final activity that demonstrates their readiness to coach members with confidence. Graduates return to their institutions ready to strengthen household resilience, deepen member relationships, and advance inclusive economic empowerment in their communities.
Together with our member associations, ACCOSCA is equipping a new generation of certified financial coaches across Africa — building institutional capacity and community financial wellness at the same time.
